Level IIa&b will consist of insturction, demonstration, and riding practice. IIa will cover horse handling skills, terminology, improving balance, transitions, and introduce the canter. IIb will cover riding english, horsecare, breeds, improving control, posting, pre-jump, first jump, and tacking up. Afternoon games, trail rides and practice in the arena. Friday: test, campfire, and horse show.

Level IIIa&b will consist of instruction, demonstrate, and riding practice. IIIa will cover horse care, bits, bridling, rein techniques, posting on correct diagonal, and control in the canter. IIIb will cover control with weight and leg cues, riding bareback, riding on contact, transitions, changing leads, jumping, and introdue sidestep, and turnback. Afternoon games, trail rides, and practice in the arena. Friday: test, campfire, and horse show.

Level IVa&b will consist of instruction, demonstration, and riding practice. IVa will cover horse behavior, conformation, horse health, and developing collection, extention, bending and suppleness with the horse. IVb will cover soundness, fore leg and hind leg turning, flying change of leads and jumping. Riders will develop Western and English performance skills. Afternoon games, trail rides and practice in the arena. Friday: test, campfire and horse show.

Each morning will start with lecture, demonstration and individual riding. Afternoons will include games on horse, trail rides and other horse activities. All camps end on Friday with a potluck, a competition with the kids demonstrating what they have learned, and presentation of ribbons, trophies, and certificates of completion. Parents, family and friends are welcome on Friday afternoon to watch and cheer on their camper. Each student will have their own horse for the week. Camp starts at 9:00 am and ends at 3:30 pm.
